TRIPOLI, LIBYA -- Officials believe the remains of more than 12-hundred victims of a 1996 massacre at Abu Salim prison are at the site
Former prison guards gave officials details of the massacre and helped locate the grave.
It started when prisoners rioted over poor conditions and were executed.
Libya has asked the international community to help identify the bodies -- which could take years.
