Obama 2012 Campaign Theme

WASHINGTON --

A top White House adviser is laying out the theme of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, saying the Republicans running for president would "take dead aim" at middle class Americans.

Obama's 2008 campaign manager, David Plouffe, says GOP
candidates share the goal of loosening restrictions on Wall Street
bankers and giving more tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. He
says all of the benefits going to the rich would be paid for by seniors and the middle class.

Speaking Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Plouffe said
the election will offer voters a "profound choice."

The race, he says, will be "a tough, close election" that
Obama will narrowly win.

Plouffe says Obama will defend his record on health care and
avoiding a depression.

Hey Jim, What country did you live in in 2008? The price of gas was up to $4.00 a gallon when Obama was elected President. Fact, not your fiction.

I believe you. Your word is good enough. I know how hard it is to fool you. No source is necessary. What was the price in July of 2008?

Jim, if you have the facts why won't you share them? Do you know the price of gasoline every week or every month for the last 10 years? If so, why don't you tell us where to find that info? If you tell us we can always find that info, even if you are dead. Did you get your info from FoxNews, or talk radio, or an anonymous e-mail? Are you saying that the price of gasoline is $3.54 at Monroe and 7th? At Meridian and 7th? Where is the price $3.54? Is that regular? Self-serve? Give us the details, Jim.

HIs relection plan is simple. You pay, I fly. If this nut spent 28 straight days in Washington it would be a miracle. He is using his seat to travel, see the world, and line his pockets on the tax payers expense. He even made the two family dogs fly on a separate plan to their vacation @ marthsa vineyard. Now is that a waste of money or what. Dogs traveled wih a $102,000.00 per year dog handle we tax payers have on pay roll.

I read some of a story about this from July 17. The dogs arrived on a plane with "several" staffers. 2 planes were required because the Prez's usual plane was too big for rural Maine. Keep trying.

@ Truth-Try looking at numeric data instead of people's appearance then practice what you preach. National gas per gallon average in 19 April 2011 was $3.96. (Nationalgasaverage.com)Looks like a Dem in office has not helped things along must be his affiliation with campaign contributor George Soros' Brazilian oil interests...

Actually, the war in Afghanistan and the short war with no American fatalities in Libya were not paid for by taxes, either. Now Lindsey Graham is suggesting the US consider a war with Pakistan. He's talking about an unfunded war, of course. The US is in a permanent condition of war. Republicans won't raise taxes on anybody, especially the rich. The US is therefore in a permanent condition of unfunded war and will eliminate social insurance to pay for war.

Where do you come up with this complete nonsense about war not costing the taxpayer anything? Gerry google the information and the amounts spent on Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan are staggering. Even USA Today, the Washington Post, etc... have articles on this fiscal spending.

Taxes have never been raised to pay for GW Bush's gratuitous Iraq War. Any government programs eliminated now, or spending reduced now, is because the Iraq War was never paid for with tax increases. Wealth is different from income. Those who own 90% of the wealth should pay 90% of the taxes. Taxing income instead of wealth places the burden on those who work. The rich don't work. The rich are the leisure class. You work; they don't. Taxing income instead of wealth is class warfare.
