WASHINGTON 10/28/2011 -- Rick Perry's next GOP debate could be one of his last.
Following several weak performances and a slip in the polls, the Texas Governor is considering skipping some upcoming debates to reignite his campaign.
Perry will face off with his rivals in Michigan November ninth, but he hasn't committed to any other debates.
The rest of the GOP field were quick to criticize him.
"I would never skip a debate," said Republican candidate Rick Santorum.
"I don't see how somebody can say that they can't debate Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul, but they'll be ready to debate Barack Obama," said Newt Gingrich.
Perry has long admitted he's not a strong debater, believing he's better at one-on-one interaction with voters instead.
All the GOP candidates have their work cut out for them. A new Time Magazine poll shows that despite President Obama's low approval ratings, he still leads every single republican rival.
At an education forum Thursday, Michele Bachmann attacked the President's latest executive order aimed at helping college grads pay off student loans.
"I think it was unwise for the president to make the suggestion. One i think it's an abuse of power," said Bachmann.
But the President has said he's not paying much attention to the GOP pack.
