STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT

Tallahassee, Fla. – Governor Rick Scott issued the following statement following today’s announcement that Rick Santorum will suspend his presidential campaign.

"There is no question that Rick Santorum ran a hard fought campaign. I commend his passion and his willingness to put the best interest of our party and nation first."

"Mitt Romney will be our party's nominee and it is critical that all Republicans coalesce behind Governor Romney and focus on electing him as President so he can put the policies in place to create jobs, turn our economy around and get federal spending under control."

Rick Santorum is suspending his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination, clearing a path for Mitt Romney to become the nominee.

A Republican close to the campaign says the former Pennsylvania senator was to make the announcement Tuesday in his home state of Pennsylvania, two weeks before the GOP presidential primary there. Santorum faced a tough fight in his home state against Romney.

Im glad he is out. I feel he was put in the race to take some of the spotlight off Dr Ron Paul who will use the constitution and his voting record and brilliant ideas to trounce these hand picked boys club members that have been running this country for years. It truly is time for a change. I feel Dr Ron Paul is the only real choice. I will not be voting for Mittens who seems to be the media darling and has been. The days of old school boys club members running our Gov should end in the next few months. Mittens will continue business as usual for the world bankers and the UN.

If thats the way the cookie crumbles then so be it, I will not vote for Obammy or Mittens. They are both cut from the same cloth, just different billionaires buying their lunch.

Actually Rick Santorum, Newt, Ron, all never had a chance of winning. Newt's got some funds to run-thru up until Tampa. So he will still be commenting and gettin in an occasional jab. Ron Paul is making a statement for his son only. So it's gonna be Obama or "Obama=Lite" Romney...those are your choices. NO MORE WHINNING!

With Santorum gone, looks like it's 4 more years of obama. Romney makes Bob Dole look like a superstar. Romney's spineless wimp who can't even use the word socialist, what a loser. 4 more years of hell ahead of us.

Ron Paul is the only real choice anyway, Sanitorium was put in there , like Newt, to take the spot light away from the real candidate in this race that truly understands the Constitution and the powers of the President. Just ask yourself if you really want someone that has been endorsed By the Bush family and so many other members of the elite bots club that have been running this dog and pony show for many many years, the same boys club that has taken us to this point of almost certain economic collapse and set in place wars for the world bankers and money hungry power elite that have sent millions to their grave to fill their coffers. Stop this madness before it takes on the blood of your children and future generations. There is a real choice. Believe the media hype at the risk of all you hold dear.
