A Tallahassee man gets 21 life sentences for a brazen hold up at a Dollar General.
There is surveillance video of three masked robbers in action. The men held up a Dollar General on Apalachee Parkway in July 2009.
During the hold up, deputies say, they robbed 12 customers at gunpoint and forced them into a bathroom.
Willie Burke was the only one arrested for the robbery. Deputies tracked him down by a single pinky print left behind at the scene.
Prosecutors say Burke grabbed a pair of gloves off the shelf during the robbery, put the gloves on and threw the packaging to the floor. Prosecutors say it was a fingerprint left behind on that package that led to Burke.
According to court records, Burke was found guilty today of nine counts of armed robbery, three counts of attempted robbery and 12 counts of kidnapping.
Burke was sentenced to 21 life sentences.
