Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee man is behind bars after being charged with attempted murder.
Tallahassee Police arrested John Cain Thursday night.
Cain and two friends had gone out to a popular West Tennessee Street bar to drink when police say Cain became drunk.
Police say the friends were driving Cain home when he began to scream and kick.
Police say they pulled off to the side of the road and one of the friends got out of the car to calm Cain down.
That's when police say Cain put him in a choke hold until the friend passed out.
The other friend then came out and did CPR until he regained consciousness.
Cain is being held at the Leon County Jail without bond. He's charged with attempted murder, criminal mischief and violating probation.
Tallahassee, FL - A man charged with attempted murder appeared in Leon County court today.
John Luke Cain was booked in the Leon County Jail this morning.
