Marianna, Florida (Press Release) On August 23, at approximately 9:51PM, deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at Spring Creek Park located off Highway 90 in Marianna, Florida.
Upon arrival and investigation, law enforcement personnel learned there were two victims. The victims said two white males attacked them at the park demanding money and jewelry.
One of the victims said that he was assaulted at knife point and forced to return to his vehicle, which was parked in close proximity to the incident. The other victim was able to flee from the immediate scene to call for help at a pay phone nearby.
The victims gave a partial description of one of the suspects as a heavy set, white male with a receding hairline. No clothing description was provided.
The victims also advised the suspects were possibly driving a 90’s model extended cab, dark green Ford Ranger last seen headed east on Highway 90.
