UPDATED 3.15.2012 by Julie Montanaro
Students say they were surprised to learn a fellow student was robbed at gunpoint in the Leach Center parking lot while the popular recreation center was still open.
The hold up happened about 11pm Wednesday night. The Leach Center remains open until midnight.
"The fact that it was still pretty early, it was 11 o'clock, most of the incidents occur maybe 2 -3 o'clock in the morning, so campus is kind of busy around that time still, so it's really surprising to hear about that," said FSU student Amanda Merced.
FSU police are hoping someone at the Leach Center saw something that can help solve this crime.
