Body Found Near FSU Alumni Center

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The body of a deceased woman was found the afternoon of March 5 near Florida State University's Alumni Association Center. An initial investigation by the Florida State University and Tallahassee police departments revealed no signs of foul play. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
Police are withholding the deceased’s name pending a final positive identification and notification of next of kin. The preliminary identification reveals no affiliation with Florida State University. The area where the body was found is an undeveloped, secluded section of the property with no foot traffic or academic facilities.
