Florida Smart Justice Alliance Release

The Florida Smart Justice Alliance will join Rep. Dennis Baxley and Sen. Thad Altman for a press conference to unveil legislation to revise the way Florida handles non-violent felons who are near the end of their prison sentences. The goal is to break the cycle of recidivism and help the offenders become productive, law-abiding citizens. The press conference will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, February 19, outside the House Chambers.
