Thank you Oliver North and Mike for making me spill my drink. Let me enlighten BOTH of you. There are lunatics on the left, right and middle! I love the arrogance of any man how he should think! The beauty of America is our FREEDOM to say and do pretty much what we want! No party is 100%. God bless America!

@Anonymous on Dec. 29,2010 2:28...You are very right, in c-stores it is mandatory for clerks to make consistent drops and if robbed to not resist, but rather hand the money to the robber(which if procedures are followed, will be less than 100.00). I spent 15 years in that line of work and never got robbed. I was lucky!

Darrell, Many companies Appropriately train their clerks not to resist. By not resisting they hope not to enrage a robber into using any weapon they may have and putting the clerk and customers at risk. This is appropriate training.

Anonymous on Dec 29, 2010 at 01:47 PM, Maybe if these thieves will get an education, maybe they could get a job that pays well. Do not place their bad choices on others. Thousands of other people are out of work or underemployed, and they are not robbing places.

If people are paid a fair wages and are hired on their knowledge and not who they know. Maybe at that time everyone will have a fair chance to take care of their self with out stealing. People out of high school are making more money then people thats been working for 20 years only because of who they know. Then they make the person thats been there 20 years do all the work and the high school kid make the money because their dad or mom work their.

Appropriately trained clerks to handle these situations and hurt the thugs. Now that is a classic thought Mike one that doesn't take a lot of intelligence to come up with. That's just what we need a bunch of john wanye types working in stores to stop robberies. Give me a break!

Oliver, we're going to start with you. We're going to torture and destroy you and your kind by making you work for a living and pay low taxes so there will be no taxpayer-funded government services for you to abuse. Happy Holidays!

Oliver North, thank you for the chuckle. To state the blatantly screamingly obvious; it ain't the GOP that is taking away the rights for ALL PEOPLE to defend themselves. It ain't the GOP turning this into a nation of Sheeple. I realize how convenient it is for folks such as yourself to have *someone* else to blame so that you do not have to live with the concept of personal responsibility. But you gotta also realize that there are an awful lot of folks who see the truth no matter how inconvenient that may be for "you and yours".
