Tallahassee, Florida - June 29, 2011 -
A large amount (approximately $10,000 worth) of copper tubing and fittings were stolen out of construction trailers at a construction site, according to the Florida State University Police Department. This occurred at the FSU Wellness Center construction site on Learning Way (near FSU Maintenance compound) on the evening of June 26 or early morning June 27. The subjects used saws to cut the tubing into smaller pieces. This incident was probably time consuming and noisy.
The FSU Police Department is actively investigating this case and requests any information that may be available concerning events related to this incident.
