Tallahassee, Florida - January 24, 2012 -
On January 24, 2012, at about 12:14am, a FAMU student was robbed in the Lower Diffenbaugh Parking Lot (near the area of Pensacola St. and Copeland St.). As the student walked, he was approached by two males, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded the students belongings then fled the area north on foot. Police quickly arrived and initiated a K-9 track, but it was determined that the suspects had likely entered a car and left the area. The student was not physically injured.
The victim described the suspects as follows:
Suspect 1 – Black male, slender build with facial hair wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood.
Suspect 2 – Black male, slender build wearing a dark long sleeve shirt.
