Two men charged with crimes in Leon County will be taken to Thomas County to be charged for similar crimes.
Evan Wiley and Austin Holt are suspected of stealing items such as guns, iPods and sunglasses out of people's unlocked cars in the Shallowbrook neighborhood in Thomasville, Georgia. Thomas County Police began working with Leon County Police after finding a connection between the separate crimes.
"Leon County, Tallahassee Police Department, officers and deputies were able to recover from Evan Wiley that was our stolen property here. Also, Austin Holt had sold some of our property and had pictures of our property for sale," said Louis Schofill, Thomas County Investigator.
In Thomas County, Holt and Wiley will be charged with multiple accounts of entering auto, possession of stolen firearms and various other charges.
