Thomasville, GA - A man is arrested almost a year after the murder of 66-year-old Bobby Anglon.
Brandon Vinavong is charged with shooting and killing Anglon at his home in Doerun back in August 2013. GBI Agents believe it was a robbery gone wrong and said a safe is still missing.
GBI said they've been looking at Vinavong and gathering evident against him since the Murger. Vinavong was arrested in Sylvester, Georgia earlier today.
"We were able to seize certain property in his possession along with other witness testimony. We're also looking at several other individuals and most arrests could be coming in this investigation," said Steve Turner, Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Vinavong is also charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary and Posession of a Firearm because of the crime.

Mitchell County, GA - Investigators say 66-year-old Bobby Anglon was found shot to death inside his house located at 8894 Morey Hill Road in Doerun, Georgia.
The discovery was made by someone else who lived at the residence around 1:00 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators with GBI say at this time they do not have a possible suspect or suspects, but they do have a possible motive.
At this point we know a small safe was missing from the house so it appears robbery is the motive," said Agent Steve Turner with the GBI.
