UPDATE 1-9-2012 Noon

Antwann Dilworth is still at the Gadsden County Jail and is being held without bond, according to the jail website. He's facing 6 charges right now, four of which are felonies including aggravated battery.

Gretna police says Dilworth's mother was bleeding from the head when they found her at their home on Hill Lane last week. Police say his sister was also stabbed and has been released from the hospital. The most recent information we have about the mother is that she is still at the hospital.

Gretna PD says Dilworth has attacked the two women before. This time, Dilworth says it was because of a rumor he believed was being spread about him.

UPDATE 1-6-2012 11:54 p.m.

Antwaun Causey lives just around the corner from his cousin's home, a home that turned into a crime scene in just a matter of minutes.

He says, "Blood was everywhere. Her hair is almost blond, all I saw was red."

Gretna police say around 11:30 a.m. Friday, a young woman called 911, screaming that her brother attacked her and her mother.

Gretna Police Chief, Brian Bess says, "He was upset about rumors allegedly his sister was saying that Antwann heard, he came here to confront his sister and ended up stabbing his sister and mother.

Crime scene investigators with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement were taking pictures of the blood splatter on the porch of the home at 122 Hill Lane, not too far from Gretna Elementary School.

When police arrived on scene they found the mother at the doorway on that porch, bleeding profusely from her head. She was in and out of consciousness.

Two hours later, police found Antwann Dilworth, not even a quarter mile from the home. He had run from the scene wearing only shorts and shoes. When police found him, they say he still had the screwdriver they say he used in the attack.

Chief Bess says there's a history of violence in the family, Dilworth has attacked them twice before. Bess says, "There's an injunction for the two victims, he's not allowed to come within five hundred feet of either of them or where they live."

Now instead of an injunction, police say Dilworth will be charged with attempted murder. He will also be charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on his sister. Police have not yet released the names of the mother and daughter.

Again, at last check the mother is still in critical condition at a Tallahassee hospital. Police would not say which hospital, but family members say she is at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Gretna police say 22 year old Antwann Dilworth stabbed the two with a screwdriver. He says he was angry because of rumors he says bus sister was spreading about him.

Now, this isn't the first time he's been in trouble, the police chief tells WCTV that Dilworth's mother and sister had to file an injunction because he had been violent with them before.

Again, the mother is in critical condition. Police will only say that she is recovering at a hospital in Tallahassee. A family member tells me she is at Tallahassee Memorial.

Tonight at 11, we'll hear more from a family member who lives just a few doors down from where this all happened.
