Tallahassee, Fla. -- A Perry man was struck and killed by a car on the Old Dixie Highway Wednesday night.
A Perry Police spokesman says it happened at about 8 o'clock last night near the intersection of Old Dixie and O'Quinn. It's a two lane highway with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour, he said.
Perry Police spokesman Jamie Cruse says the man had just left a family members home not far away.
Police have not yet released the pedestrian's name or any information about the vehicle that hit him. It's far too early, Cruse said, to know if the driver would face any charges.
