Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee man will soon be sentenced for a drug deal that ended in murder.

Denzell Billings-Harrison was found guilty of felony murder and armed robbery for a confrontation at the Shaker Heights apartments in February 2012.

Prosecutors contend Harrison and his cousin Jamal Kee went to the apartment to buy drugs and tried to rob the three men inside.

At some point one of the victims grabbed a knife and fought back - he stabbed Harrison and killed Kee. Yet Harrison was the one charged with Kee's murder because it happened during the hold up.

Harrison's attorney promises an appeal.

This whole thing was something that wasn't suppose to happen. I know all four of the people accused in the incident and this story doesn't fit. Jamal was in college and so was Denzell. Everyone smokes a little bit of weed here and there so no one has room to judge. This is something that is traumatizing to everyone. We lost family to jail and to death. Most people joke about this or argue about this post but these boys meant a lot to us and now we can't see touch or hold them again; and for Denzell when this whole ordeal is over. Casey Anthony is set free for killing her child, but my friend is murdered trying to help his cousin and doesn't get the correct form of justice? He has sisters and brothers too. A mother and father too. And possibly a child. They are good people. Wrong place, wrong time type deal. And now we lost people we love while the other guys who were involved walked free after murdering Jamal. We love you Mal. Rest in Peace. Free Denzell we love you too
