LCSO Reports Two Juveniles Arrested in Residential Burglary

Two Juveniles Arrested in Residential Burglary

Tallahassee, Florida --

On Monday October 4, 2010 at approximately 2:47 pm, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office responded
to the area of Long Pine Drive in reference to a residential burglary in progress. Upon arriving,
deputies learned that three suspects had just fled the area. Other deputies responded to assist in
establishing a perimeter and K-9 Sgt. Chris Chase and “Miska” successfully tracked and assisted in
apprehending two of the three suspects. The fifteen year old juveniles had broken into the
residence at 507 Long Pine Drive and had stolen electronics valued at $1,000.00. The stolen
property was recovered and returned to the owner. The juveniles were transported to the Juvenile
Assessment Center. This investigation is continuing and additional charges are likely.
