Tallahassee, Fla. -- Tallahassee police have released the identity of a man involved in a road rage incident last night, accused of pointing an assault rifle at another driver.
Tallahassee police were called out to Apalachee Pkwy. around 11 last night where the victim says the road rage incident with 23-year-old suspect, Rashard Rouise, took place.
According to the victim, he was at the intersection of S. Magnolia Dr. and E. Lafayette St. heading north when Rouise made eye contact with him from his vehicle. Both drivers proceeded to the next red light at Magnolia Dr. and Apalachee Pkwy., where the victim says he rolled down his window and asked Rouise if he was ‘ok’. The victim says he asked one more time, and instead of answering Rouise pointed an assault rifle at him. The victim says Rouise then fled from the scene.
Police say the assault rifle was located nearby and taken in as evidence, and K-9 officers eventually located Rouise hiding in some bushes outside 1310 Cross Creek Way.
Rouise faces various charges including aggravated assault and possession of cocaine and a controlled substance without a prescription.

At approximately 11pm the Tallahassee Police Department was called regarding a road rage incident in which the victim said the suspect had pointed a rifle type weapon at him while they were both driving in the area of Apalachee Parkway.
TPD officers arrived quickly and located the suspect vehicle, still in the area of Apalachee Parkway. The vehicle fled from the officers, which resulted in the suspect crashing his car and attempting to run away on foot. K-9 officers, along with additional units, were called to the area and are attempting to locate the suspect at this time. The rifle type weapon has been located and taken into custody as evidence.
