News Release: Midway Police Department
Midway, Fla. - The Midway Police Department warns citizens to lock your vehicles and remove or secure any valuables left inside the vehicle.
There has been an increase in vehicle burglaries in the past week, and police say they all may have been prevented.
“Locking doors and removing valuables from vehicles is the single most important thing citizens can do to prevent vehicle burglaries and thefts," said Chief Turner.
Police officers recently intercepted a vehicle theft in which the suspects rammed one of the marked patrol units and continued into Leon County. Those suspects have yet to be apprehended.
Midway Police wants to remind citizens, “See Something, Say Something” and “Help Us, Help You”.
