"We have to try to keep a lid on activity. If not, things will get bad, people will get killed and get hurt behind street level drugs," says investigator Clarence Pearson with the Quincy Police Department.

That was the motivation behind Tuesday morning's drug raids. WCTV captured exclusive video as agents brought Ronterrius Moore in on drug charges. Also arrested is Antonio Denson. Quincy police say the two were operating drug houses.

On the evidence table was everything officers say they confiscated including crack cocaine, marijuana, powder cocaine, cash, a firearm and other drug paraphernalia.

"We got numerous complaints from the neighbors, complaints from citizens. The citizens aren't going to stand for this activity and neither are we," says Pearson.

Tameicka Bradwell's home is where officers caught up with Denson... she says she's upset about how the raid was executed. "I don't appreciate how they came up in my house and how they threw my boyfriend down on the ground."

She says her mother, who suffers from high blood pressure, was awakened out of her sleep with a gun in her face. "They was wrong and now my mom's in the emergency room. That's wrong they should have did that a better way," says Bradwell.

Belinda Berry who lives next door to Densons' girlfriend says, "There was a lot of screaming and it probably frightened her, especially being and elderly lady. There were elderly people in the home so I really do feel for them."

But investigators say putting Denson and Moore behind bars makes the streets of Quincy a little bit safer.

Both Denson and Moore are charged with drug trafficking, operating a drug house among other charges.

Quincy Police say they have a long list of other suspected dealers they plan to track down to make their community drug free

Quincy police arrest two suspected drug dealers this morning, Feb. 22.

Just before 10 a.m., police executed drug warrants at the homes of the men. Police say Antonio Denson was operating a drug house and they found about two thousand dollars worth of cocaine and ecstasy in his home. Ronterrius Moore was also arrested. Police say they found three thousand dollars worth of drugs including marijuana, crack cocaine and powder cocaine along with a firearm at Moore's house.

Both men are charged with drug trafficking and maintaining a drug house, among other charges.

I say Identify the drug houses. Then open blogs up for the citizen and neighbors to publically, anonymously converse about all that they see going on at the house. Who is coming and going? What is the make and module of their cars?. Kind of like a neighborhood watch but this way people could do it from the safety of hiding behind a computer. It will help the police and drive the drug dealers crazy. I am all for nosey. I tnk the more nosey people we have the better and Quincy has a lot of nosey people.

Girl get those people away from your kids. The entire world is watching that house and the activity that is going on over there. Are you crazy. You are going to have rival drug dealers breaking into that house tring to steal money and every drug addicts in the world breaking in trying to get drugs. Get all those people out of your yard, do you want to end up in jail. Keep doing what you are doing and to all of you hanging out over there. They just did a major drug bust over there. The drug squad is watching that house and everybody associated with it like a hulk. Go home, get away from there. Stop being stupid all of your our setting your own selfs up for a jail cell. Go home do some house work, read a book. Watch tv, but get away from there.

That guy does not give a darn about you or your well being. If he did he would not have brought that to your house. You are lucky this did not turn out worse. Get rid of him. God gave you a second chance for God sake take it. That guy is going to get you or somebody you care about hurt and when that happens he will be no where around. When your mother was in the Emergency Room, where was he? I bet you he was not there. He was not there for her and he will not be there for you. Get rid of him. He is only going to bring you hardship. Girl wake up. Your neighbors have got your back. Those are the people that care about you and your safety.
  • by Proud of the Quincy Residence. Good job. on Feb 23, 2011 at 03:18 PM
To "They was wrong" What about the humanity police? It looks like to me Tallahassee could use the help. They witness three children being murder on Saddler Creek in Tallahassee by drug dealers and would not tell the police who the drug dealers were. The Quincy community protects their children and their elderly from Drug dealers when we see drug dealers have move into the house of an elderly women and our dealing drugs around children do they keep quiet in an cowardly alliance of silence. No they call the police and they tell everything they know. I'll take Quincy people over Tallahassee people any day. Good job Quincy residence, good job Quincy Police Department. Thank you for stepping up and helping and elderly women who was being force to live with drug dealers. You saved her life. She would have surely die or been hurt if not for you all putting a stop to what was going on. Thank-you. I could not be more proud of this Community. You all are heros. Hold your heads high.

What about the grammar police? It looks to me like Quincy could use the help.
  • by You do wrong in Quincy, they sure are not going to protect you here with an alliance of Silence on Feb 23, 2011 at 01:29 PM
To those people from Tallahassee, that are pretending they are superior to Quincy. You are not.Do you remeber Saddler Creek in Tallahassee three babies and thier mother were brutally slaughter right under some very nosey neighbors noses, but when it came time to tell what they knew, Nobody knew anything. They watch those babies get killed and said nothing. In Quincy you can't do that. Because everybody knows everybody and they are sure is h not going to keep quiet if they see you doing wrong. They are going to tell it. That is the difference between Quincy people and Tallahassee People. We are not going to allow people to kill children and keep quiet. We are bit going to allow you to sell drugs around children and keep quiet about it. We are all nosey an we are tell what we see.

What was wrong, is your boyfriend bringing this drama up in your house around your mother. What was wrong was you allowing him to do it. You are lucky they did not arrest you too for being a participant after the fact. Many women who do not do drugs, but associate with drug dealers while they are dealing find them selfs in jail as well. For god sakes wake up and get the h away from these people and stop allowing them to endanger your mom, you your children or anybody else you care aboout. You are right your mom could have died and it would have been your fault, not anybody elses. You should look out better for you mother. Stop letting your drug dealers friends sleep under the same roof as your mom.

To those telling the tales of policeman displaying unbecoming behavior. Why tell it on here? If I saw an officer doing something illegal or wrong I would tell him I am calling..As many folks as they have locked up why should not think they have to answer for their own misdeeds. Really!! I saw the girlfriend on TV as well. She really looked quite ridiculous. Saying they should have not done it that way.. Well shame on her for having a drug dealer living in the home with her elderly mother..No respect for anyone..Then blame the police.SO if he had been robbed for his drugs and her mother was injured int he process, who would be to blame then..Take responsibility for yourselves people.. Stop blaming others. I wish I would see a police officer drink alcohol and get behind the wheel. I would have recorded and posted it on YOU TUBE.. Tired of whining folks.. Get up, get out and get something dont let the days of your life pass by. Cause you and I gots to do for you and I..
