According to TPD investigators, two black males walked into the BP station at Thomasville Road and Market Street around 7:15am. One of the men distracted a clerk while the other one emptied the cash register. The two then ran out of store, heading toward I-10. Police do not know if the suspects got into a vehicle after that. Police said there were several customers in the store, but no one was hurt. TPD does not believe any weapons were used. Investigators are classifying the incident as a grand theft.

The Tallahassee Police Department is responding to a robbery at the BP on Thomasville Road near the flyover, according to Officer Dave Northway. TPD View lists the incident happening at 7:17am.
