Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee man survives a bullet to the chest and now the man accused of pulling the trigger is under arrest. The whole thing may have started with an argument over 80 dollars.
The shots rang out at the Exxon gas station at the corner of Tharpe Street and Mission Road Wednesday night.
Court documents say the victim was arguing with a man inside a truck about 80 dollars he owed him for a big screen TV.
Witnesses say the victim, Robert Sampson, was standing on the running board of the truck when the man inside started firing. Sampson fell and the truck sped off.
Today 20-year-old Luckens Eximond was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Arrest papers say he fired three shots at Sampson.
One went clear through Sampson's chest and came out of his back, but somehow he managed to escape without life threatening injuries.
