Gun Banner: I am appalled at your idea that violence will solve anything. These people have have been exposed to way too many spankings and beatings already. They need love and compassion. Apparently some of you didn't read Gun Banner's last 2 sentences.

Hello Gun Banner, You seriously need to see research about how gun ownership reduces crime rates. As far as terrorism goes, I'd rather be armed in the event a terrorist makes an attack. Also, not all gun owners are right wing extremists. People own firearms from a broad spectrum of politcal beliefs/values. In a perfect world, we would not need to carry guns; however, this is not the case in current society. FYI: Earlier I posted that I make my wife carry a gun which includes an anti-aircraft gun. This was intended as sarcasm. She carries a firearm of her own choice and it is not an anti-aircraft gun.

GunBanner.... i feel like i don't have to post about your stupidity as that would simply be redundant by now. But i can provide you with an accurate example of why your wrong. Wearing a pair of blue jeans, a shirt, and a coat, i can conceal anywhere between 2-4 different handguns if i wanted to. I have the ability to make that choice, with or without a concealed permit. Now i have my concealed carry and normally my handgun stays in my car, however criminals just don't give a you know what. This means that when they have their guns, and you don't have yours, because you voted to ban our right to carry them as law abiding citizens; you're just going to be SOL. Perhaps now your ignorance will not hamper your ability to make wise voting decisions. Have a nice day.
  • by Anonymous on Jan 12, 2011 at 05:39 AM Even if they did ban everyone from carrying guns, criminals WOULD STILL CARRY THEM! Are you that naive???? Criminals arent allowed to carry them now...but they do! Thats why they are CRIMINALS. They dont follow rules. They do and kill and steal as they please. I feel sorry for your stupidity.

Gun Banner, are you serious or just ignorant.Criminals and terrorists are already doing that, and do you think that they have a concealed carry permit?

No one should have a right to carry a concealed firearm. This is exactly the type of law that benefits criminals and terrorists because they will be able to sneak weapons into public places. There is enough right wing extremism in the US. Fortunately, no one was injured at the bank and hopefully the potential robber is captured and paddled on the behind. A good ole spankin will teach him right.

anonymous at 4:51, I wasn't saying that women shouldn't carry guns. I was simply saying that it should be HER choice to be armed or not, not a requirement of her husband. I am all for gun rights but I really don't think that it should be forced on anybody. Being a gun owner, at least being a good gun owner, is a lot of responsibility.

Female? Alone? Bank? Early? Opening door? Disaster? Bank manager still has job? Common sense? It won't be long until carrying concealed will not be an option. One year, maybe two...... you'll see.

CJ you hush up. He requires her to carry because he obviously LOVES and cares for her safety. Unlike them, you will be the one unprepared and probably get shot. I wish it was the 1950s and women didnt liberate...(This is coming from a mid 20 something woman).
