Suspicious Incidents
On Thursday, December 16, at around 6:00 pm, the mother of a 9-year old girl entered the lobby of the Tallahassee Police Department. The explained to officers that earlier in the afternoon, a black male suspect had approached her child. The suspect was driving a black pickup and verbally attempted to coerce the child into the truck. The child refused and reported the incident to the mother.
On Friday, at around 3:40 pm, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a second suspicious incident in the 2800 block of Apalachee Parkway. A 13-year old black male was approached by a black male suspect. The suspect attempted to conceal his facial features and attempted to coerce the boy into his vehicle. The car was described as a black 4-door, possibly a Mitsubishi type sedan.
