By: WCSO Press Release

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the location of a registered sexual offender who has failed to register with the WCSO as required by statute. He has also failed to update his driver license or identification card and failed to report a change of address.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Eric Sean Maxwell, 39, of Sopchoppy. He failed to register as a sex offender in March. A sexual offender is required to report in person twice a year (during their birth month and during the sixth month following their birth month) to the sheriff of the county of current residence. Address changes are required to be reported within 48 hours as well as driver license or ID card changes.

Anyone with information about Maxwell may contact WCSO Detective Drew Vass at 745-7191 or Crime Stoppers.
