WCSO Working Stolen Vehicles Case

Wakulla County, FL - On Feb. 3, the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Hard Head Hunting Club on Tiger Hammock Road in Crawfordville to investigate a report of a stolen green 4 X 4 Polaris 500 four wheeler. The four wheeler is valued at $2,500. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 745-7100.

On Feb. 13, the owner of a C & L Automotive & Towing flatbed wrecker reported it missing from Sopchoppy. The 1996 International Model 4700 is white with red lettering on both doors and a red rollback bed.

In what could be a related theft, a Quincy man reported the theft of two John Deere utility vehicle “Gators” from a closed restaurant in Sopchoppy. A utility trailer was also stolen but was recovered in Franklin County on Feb. 14.

Anyone with information about the two Gators or the wrecker is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division of the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 745-7100.
