Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

TPD and LCSO joint release

Saturday morning at approximately, 3:00am, members from the North Florida Fugitive Task Force, consisting of the Tallahassee Police Department, the Leon County Sherriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals apprehended 29 year-old Lovenson A. Mose, at 1525 W Tennessee Street, Lafayette Motel.

Mose had an outstanding warrant for armed Robbery from 5648 Blountstown Hwy, Chevron Gas Station and wanted in the connection with a Robbery at 5712 W Tennessee Street, Circle K Gas Station.

Mose was taken in to custody without incident and transported for further questioning.

During the course of the investigation it was determined Mose matched the description of the robbery suspect from yesterday’s bank robbery of Capital City Bank, 1456 Capital Circle Northwest. During the questioning of yesterday’s incident, Mose confessed to the bank robbery, in addition to the two gas station location.

Tallahassee, FL - Today the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Capital City Bank located at 1456 Capital Circle Northwest. The incident occurred at
approximately 1:45pm.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black short sleeved T- shirt, long jean shorts and white basketball shoes with black trim. He is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 150lbs. The suspect entered the bank and approached one of the tellers demanding money. He received US currency and left
the bank through the front door in an unknown direction.

TPD investigators are attempting to identify this suspect. Community members with information or who recognize the suspect are asked to call TPD at 891-4200 or the Big Bend Crime Stoppers at 574-TIPS. Crime Stoppers does not want your name, just your information and you may be eligible for a cash reward. Please remember, if

UPDATE -- 9-8-2011

Capital City Bank remains closed as TPD continues their bank robbery investigation.

At around 2:00pm this afternoon, a black male handed a note to a teller demanding money. Authorities say a weapon was never shown, and that the robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A suspect description has not yet been released at this time.

Tallahassee Police Department has responded to a bank robbery at Capital City Bank located at Capital Circle NW and Tharpe St.

No other information has been released by TPD at this time.
