Jacksonville, Florida (AP) --

Authorities say a skydiver was forced to make an emergency landing when his parachute failed to open during a Jacksonville Jaguars halftime show.

The unidentified parachute was not injured.

Authorities say the main chute failed to open Sunday, September 26 and the skydiver was forced to use a backup parachute. He landed safely on the practice field next to the stadium and was not hurt.

Several witnesses who were in the stands for the game took
photos. One shot shows the skydiver still in the air after
deploying the backup parachute. Another shows him walking off the
field.
