I think a just punishment for anyone, male or female, who murders a child like that would be the same treatment in the same vehicle in the same parking space. Secure them and let them bake until they expire.

this is no different from the mother who left her baby girl in the girl for two hours while she visited her friend - it was a crime that time and it's a crime this time so why no charges? the lives of babies don't count? death by neglect is a crime!! and he should be in jail too doesn't matter whether he's sorry or not - there's just no excuse

Sandy - no matter what the temperatue was, you never leave a child, a 1 year old at that, in a car for 3 hours! As a mother of 3 children, I just do not understand all these stories about parents leaving their children in vehicles...come on people, get a grip!!!!
