Tallahassee, FL (AP) - Two Florida Democratic incumbents are
already on the way out and Republicans are leading early in two
more U.S. House races.
Reps. Alan Grayson and Suzanne Kosmas, freshman Democrats from
central Florida, were early losers. Other Democratic incumbents
trailing in their races were seven-term "Blue Dog" Rep. Allen
Boyd in north Florida and Rep. Ron Klein, a two-term Democrat who
unseated longtime Republican Congressman Clay Shaw in South Florida
four years ago.
Former Florida House Speaker and ex-Senate Majority Leader
Daniel Webster unseated Grayson in the 8th District, while state
Rep. Sandy Adams, an Orlando Republican, defeated Kosmas in the
24th District.
Democrats, though, are on track to holding their only open seat.
