IMMOKALEE, Fla. (AP) -- Three teenagers are dead and a fourth is in serious condition following a fatal Halloween crash in southwest Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened in Immokalee about 10:55 p.m. Thursday.
According to FHP, a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by 17-year-old Jacob Garibay went onto the shoulder of Immokalee Road, struck a concrete culvert and turned onto its roof.
Garibay died, along with two passengers, 17-year-old Joseph Daguerre Jr. and 17-year-old Gerardo Ruiz. A fourth passenger, 16-year-old Lamorris Hall, was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers with serious injuries.
The teens all lived in Immokalee.
The FHP is investigating the crash.
