Temperature's in Tallahassee have dropped below freezing, but snow has yet to fall in the sunshine state. So one local 7th grade student takes matters into his own hands.

Christopher Whitmer from Corner Stone Learning Community created a snow making machine with his father, using materials purchased from home improvement stores. Students got to take the time in between classes to play with icicles and throw snowballs at each other.

The school made sure the kids warmed up with towels and blankets before heading back into class.

Once again a Cornerstone student uses inventiveness, persistence, and problem-solving skills to do something remarkable for others! Way to go, Chris!!
