June 7, 2011 -

Authorities on both sides of the state line are looking for the people responsible for the kidnapping of a 3-month-old child.

Dale County Sheriff's investigators in Alabama issued an Amber Alert for Daniel Jackson Lowe.

The child's parents took Daniel and his two siblings with them to meet an Internet acquaintance who promised to help them find jobs and a home.

Instead, the parents claim the man carjacked them, taking the three kids, setting off a massive search.

Around 2:00am on June 6, a Walton county woman called authorities, saying she'd found two children, ages one and three, in the front yard of her home in her Black, Alabama.

They were treated at a Walton County Hospital, and then handed over to the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

However, 3-month-old Daniel is still missing.

Authorities have recovered the family's silver Isuzu Rodeo, and are now looking for another suspect vehicle.

If you have any information on this case, hotline number is (334) 774-2335.

Daniel Jackson Lowe was last seen on Sunday evening, June 5, 2011 in Ariton,
Alabama. Daniel and his two siblings Brian Dale Dacus III, and Charles Clinton
Dacus were taken by unknown suspects in an alleged assault and carjacking. Two of
the children were located; however 3 month-old Daniel is still missing. The suspect
was driving a 1991 Maroon or Burgandy Buick LeSabre with Alabama license plate
number 34B19D8. Any information please contact Dale County Sheriff's Office at

Stop blaming the parents for this horrible crime against them. What kind of people are you... to pass judgement. How about put yourselves in their shoes. These people lost their children because they were looking for work.

People that post there pictures and their personal lives on the internet, facebook or whatever are stupid. If it's family or personal, you'd better keep it to yourself and not put it out for the world to see. If you want attention talk to the pastor or doctor or mom and dad or your friends.
