[UPDATE] Accident Slowing Traffic on Mahan

Leon County Sheriff's Deputies say that there was a three car accident including an empty school bus around 6 o'clock this morning (12-1)at Mahan Drive and Edenfield Road.

The drivers of each vehicle were transported for minor injuries.

The FDOT states U.S. 90 (Mahan Drive) at the Edenfield Road intersection has reopened. Traffic is still congested in this area.

Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route.

    it was NOT the bus driver's fault. the Toyota ran the stop sign, hit the truck, knocking it into the path of the bus & the bus hit the utility trailer being pulled by the truck. Does give new meaning to being thrown under the bus.

    And so now anytime there is a wreck with a school bus, it must be the school bus driver's fault.

    I wonder if the driver of the bus will be faced with any charges. I was hit by a school bus when the driver illegally changed lanes. The driver didn't even stop, but kept going. The person is yet to be charged with anything.
