News Release: Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union
TALLAHASSEE, FLA (December 19, 2013) – For the second year, Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union made a $10,000 donation to America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend. America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend Executive Director, Rich English, accepted the check from Gulf Winds President and CEO, Chris Rutledge, along with Gulf Winds board members.
“We are feeding more people now than in previous years and this donation will help to feed our area hungry during a tough time of year,” said English. “Recent budget cuts have increased and the need for food and Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union is doing their part to support the community.”
"Gulf Winds is pleased with the positive impact America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend has on our community,” said Rutledge. “Gulf Winds is honored to be in a place where we can help organizations fulfil their mission of feeding the hungry, educating and engaging the community in the fight against hunger.”
