Tallahassee, FL--Bangin' BBQ is a family owned business that does more than cook up a mean BBQ platter. They give back to the community. They have helped put back bags on the backs of children in the area for the past four years.
"I have lots of children so this very much close to my heart," said Donna Harris, Organizer of the event.
"On this side of town alot of the parents," said Eric McKinnon, the owner of Crab Shack. "We know that they can't effort the ability to buy these things some of the things go lacking."
With dozens of donations, they filled up more than 130 backpacks filled with school supplies to shine the light on the importance of education.
"You got to have an education in order to make it and those who are falling through the cracks we want to be there to help them push on, we want to be that aide," said Isaac Williams, a sponsor of the event and president of Inspired By Love.
A cause close to their hearts, many of donations came from restaurants in the area and department stores like Target.
