Local Celebrities Try Their Hands at Waiting Tables

The first Celebri-Tree Dinner supports the Sharing Tree, an organization that collects and redistribute reusable materials to educators and artists.

Local celebrities like Commissioner Gil Ziffer, Superintendent Jackie Pons and Sheriff Larry Campbell did their part by volunteering their serving skills for the evening.

Carly Sinnadurai with the Sharing Tree says, "I have teachers come in and they say thank you so much this is the best thing that's ever happened to us in the county. Artist come in and say Thank you these creative materials are giving me ideas that i never had before. It's just a really special thing."

100% of the proceeds went to Sharing Tree, the event was sold out.

One last "tip" for the local celebrity servers; don't quit your day jobs.

That’s great! I think everyone needs to work in the restaurant industry at least once in their lives.
