TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— The Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration conducted a roundup of 10 central Florida residents following an investigation of a drug trafficking organization.
Anthony Pomarico of Orlando allegedly managed a drug trafficking organization distributing cocaine, marijuana and molly (MDMC) throughout central Florida.
The Drug Enforcement Administration used authorized phone interceptions to expose this drug ring.
The following defendants participated in the Pomarico Drug Trafficking Organization:
Five defendants have been arrested and charged with various drug offenses including trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, and possession of cannabis with intent to sale or deliver. The remaining five defendants have outstanding warrants for their arrest.
All defendants are facing felony charges with various sentencing punishable up to 90 years in prison with two defendants facing a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years. The Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution will prosecute this case.
