Chicken Parts Slow Traffic on Highway 90 - SLIDE SHOW

Madison, Florida - April 25, 2011 -

A mid-morning spill of chicken parts on U.S. Hwy 90 in
Madison resulted in the closing of one westbound lane
of traffic.

The incident occurred around 10:00 AM on Monday, April 25, 2011 in front of the Madison County Courthouse. Madison Police and Fire personnel were on scene waiting for Florida Department of Transportation staff to arrive.

The clean-up should be completed today.

    You mean they put raw chicken in chicken feed? What if the chicken is diseased or contaminated in some way and the chickens that eat it pass the disease or contamination in the eggs that are laid or if they are killed and sold at market in the flesh that is cooked and eaten by families? Ugh!

      Most likely to the feed plant in Live Oak where they make chicken feed.
