Tallahassee Utilities encourage homeowners to watch their thermostats.
Keeping them at 68 degrees during the day and 65 degrees at night will not only save energy- it will also save you some green. Weather stripping around doors and windows can also help keep the cold out and the money in your wallet.
Tallahassee Utilities Director of Energy Service, David Byrne says "Awe recommend making sure your home is well insulated. We've got a program that pays 80% of the cost of the celling insulation and we really recommend people doing that. It's one f the best ways to save winter heating and lower those bills."
