Wakulla County, FL - Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office detectives have solved a March 24 commercial burglary of the Chevron gas station located at 2911 Crawfordville Highway, according to Sheriff David Harvey. The case investigation also resulted in two of the three suspects in the burglary case being charged with sexual battery on a 14-year-old female victim.

Brandon Shawn Radabaugh, Nickolas William Bowen and Tony Cameron Hackney, all age 18 of Crawfordville, were charged with burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief in connection with the commercial burglary. In addition, Radabaugh and Hackney were charged with sexual battery in the case.

Investigators discovered the front door of the convenience store broken out and more than $300 worth of Spice product stolen from the establishment at 11:59 p.m. Spice is a stimulant used by individuals to get high. The Drug Enforcement Administration has outlawed the sale of five chemicals used to make the synthetic marijuana. Florida lawmakers are also addressing a ban of the sale of the product that goes by the name of “Spice, K-2 or Mr. Nice Guy.”

Detectives used video security footage and confidential information to link Radabaugh, Hackney and Bowen to the crime scene. Detectives Derek Lawhon and Melissa Harris at a camper on the property of one of the suspects.

The camper door was open and Detective Lawhon observed a female with her breasts exposed and Radabaugh running off the bed in his underwear.

Radabaugh told the detectives that he used a metal object to break the glass door and remove the Spice and that Hackney and Bowen was also involved in the crime. Radabaugh said he tossed the metal object used to break the glass off the Lost Creek Bridge after the burglary. Detective Rob Giddens was able to recover the object from a wooded area near the bridge on Arran Road. Radabaugh also had cuts on his legs consistent with the video of him falling down onto the broken glass as he left the store. Detectives picked up Bowen from his workplace in Panacea.

During the interview with the 14-year-old female victim she admitted to sexual relations with the two suspects. Bowen’s 1998 Honda, which was used in the crime, was seized as evidence.

Radabaugh, Hackney and Bowen are all being held in the Wakulla County Jail with no bond.

“A great deal of skill, coupled with technology, was used to solve this case,” said Sheriff Harvey. “Additionally, the business owner and citizens assisted us in solving this case and bringing the suspects to justice.”

There is no law against a 14 year old girl not being able to hang out with 18 year old man. But she should have known better because these boys are obviously trouble. Th law is the law and even though it might not have been rape, she still had sex with an 18 year old. These boys should have thought twice about having sex with that young girl because it is ilegal! And now they are in jail. They got what they deserve.

These boys deserve to go to jail simply because they broke a law. And if you don't like it then you can get the hell out of America because you will go to jail regardless of who you are or where you came from.

It is sad when an ex girlfriend, her sister and their mom, see these boys with friends other than the girl and call the law to them...Even though the girl never said one word to the cops they still pressed charges, what are they going to do when she says they lied on her...And when the community finds out that it was an ex of one of the boys that was mad and called the cops just to get them in trouble wonder what they will say..hmm the truth will come out

And, 14 is a MINOR! At 18, these guys should know that it's illegal to have sex with someone 14 years of age. I don't care if she struts herself all around Wakulla County. They should have walked away. Shame on them!
