Crunch Time for Christmas Shoppers

Tallahassee, FL -- The parking lot was full at the Governor's Square Mall in Tallahassee a few hours before it closed Tuesday evening.

Denise Williams had a lot of shopping to do.

"Last minute shopping, as usual," Williams laughed.

She wasn't alone. Thousands converged on the shopping center to get their last-minute Christmas shopping done. Tallahassee native Mark Ingram had flown home and didn't want to carry the gifts with him on the plane.

"Gotta get it done at some point, so got it done and that's all that really matters," he said with a handful of bags.

Williams hit up three more stores after we caught up with her. She told us she had already been at the mall for two hours before we got there. But, it was all worth it.

"I can go home and start to put things together and check my list off so I can be done, and then wait patiently for Santa!" she said.

If you still don't have your Christmas shopping done, remember that cash always works, too. Also, places like Amazon.com have instant gift cards you can send via email.
