Tallahassee, FL - An investigation in Allied Veteran's has led to the closure of their Florida internet cafe's including those in Tallahassee.

We spoke with customers who can't believe what happened.

"A patron screamed, ohhhh, you know may scream, you know because you know she probably hit for a couple of thousand dollars," Douglas Brown, Former Internet Cafe Customer, said.

Brown tells us about his experience as a customer at an Allied Veteran's internet cafe. Thursday, the Leon County Sheriff's office, IRS, and Gambling task force raided several of cafes' in Florida. Two being in Tallahassee.

All owned by Allied Veteran's of the World, which claimed to be a charity for veteran's.

"This spot right here is like known for winning," said Brown.

Customers like Brown are now left with disappointment from a place they went to have fun.

Officials say they are investigating Allied Veteran employees for money laundering and racketeering.

"I was a little bit shocked I mean, you know. But, I think they should close them all, really I do," said Julia Canty, Former Internet Cafe Customer.

Customers have continued to stop by the internet cafe on south monroe street, not knowing it was closed and it may never re-open."

The Florida House and Senate leaders expressed opposition with internet cafes, and both support legislation to end their existence in Florida.

"I think it's just a gimmick, they let you win a few dollars and eventually you'll end up losing a whole lot more so I advise you not to go if you haven't been," Canty said.

Officials say a three year investigation led to 57 arrest warrants in 23 Florida counties.
