Around 50 to 55 vendors showed up with fresh produce, unique artwork, crafts and handmade creations.

The Marketplace opened at 9 in the morning and continued until 2.

It featured live music as folks strolled through the outdoor venue.

People who visit regularly say it's worth getting up early Saturday morning to see and purchase items made locally.

Regular at the Marketplace Kathy Barnett, "I have company here from out of town this weekend, so I wanted them to see what Tallahassee has to offer. Very unique and fun things out here that you wont find anywhere else and you definitely wont find it in the mall. Every time you turn around there's a booth with something unique and different."

The Tallahassee Downtown Marketplace will reopen in March of 2011.

There will be a "Just One More" event on December 11.

The Downtown Marketplace is one of the many gems this city has to offer. Some of the vendors will be moving to Lake Ella for the winter; I look forward to seeing them there.
