Madison County, Florida --
Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:40 AM investigators of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force stopped a vehicle on Interstate 10 in Madison County for a traffic infraction that resulted in the arrest of James Errol Glover, B/M, DOB: 11/29/1980 of Tallahassee, FL and the seizure of 5 pounds of marijuana and 200 dose units of ecstasy.
The Drug Task Force Investigators observed signs of possible criminal activity and deployed canine “Arko” to conduct a free air sniff. Canine “Arko” gave a positive alert on the vehicle giving the investigators probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search investigators located 5 vacuum sealed bags containing marijuana and 1 vacuum sealed bag containing ecstasy concealed inside shopping bags, covered with clothing and hidden within the interior of the vehicle. Glover was arrested without incident.
James Errol Glover was charged with possession of marijuana and ecstasy with intent to distribute.
The marijuana has a street value of $22,700.00.
The ecstasy has a street value of $2,000.00.
