FSU has the Largest Student Run Philanthropy in the Southeast

The 16th Annual Dance Marathon wrapped up Sunday and raised approximately $486,927.30.

The money is raised for Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Shand's Children's Hospital and the FSU College of Medicine Pediatric Outreach Program.

The Dance Marathon reached an all time high with over 3,500 student participants.

The event was held at the Civic Center and started February,11th and ended on the13th.

The Marathon was 40-hours of dancing split into two 20-hour shifts.

Throughout the hours, dancers learned line dances, played games and had meet and greets with miracle families that benefit from the money they raise.
