FHP Identifies Man Killed In Havana Crash

Havana, FL-A 79-year-old Havana man was killed in a crash Saturday morning after his pickup flipped over and landed in someone's yard.

The Florida Highway Patrol identified Clarence Theodore Farris as the man killed in the crash. It happened along Havana Highway around 11 am.

FHP says Farris' 2002 Nissan Frontier was going east on State Road 12 when it began traveling onto the south shoulder for an unknown reason.

FHP says he corrected, getting back on the road before going over onto the north shoulder and down into a ditch, causing his truck to overturn.

The truck landed upright in the front yard of a home in the 7800 block of Havana Highway.

FHP says Farris was not wearing a seat belt.

No one else was hurt in the crash.

Havana, FL-At least one person is dead after a crash in Havana Saturday.

The Florida Highway Patrol is releasing few details on the crash.

The accident happened on Havana Highway near Silver Oak Drive around 11 a.m.

A pickup truck went off the road and landed next to a tree killing at least one person. They died on scene.

FHP has not identified anyone involved in the crash at this time.

It's unknown if anyone else was injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
