The teacher along Florida's Space Coast who was threatened last year by students on Facebook has resigned.
Former English teacher Kathy Bowen said she chose to retire
Tuesday from Viera High School. She says she has been bullied by
school administrators who she claims are still upset that she went
public about the Facebook threats, which made headlines nationwide
Brevard County School district officials say they have no
evidence that Bowen filed any formal complaints alleging she had
The Brevard County Sheriff's Office investigated and decided not
to pursue criminal charges against any of the teens involved with
the Facebook threats.
